Durham County Emergency Medical Services Council
The purpose of the Emergency Medical Services Program is to ensure that victims of sudden illness or accidents receive prompt and efficient emergency care. Proper relationships between the various services and agencies must be established to ensure that all resources necessary for prompt applications of definitive medical care are activated.
