– Durham County offices will close on Friday, July 3 in observance of the July 4th holiday. County offices will reopen and resume
normal hours of operation on Monday, July 6.
Durham
County Libraries
(all branches) will be closed Friday, July 3
and Saturday, July 4. Those libraries with Sunday hours will reopen with regular
hours on Sunday, July 5. Those libraries without Sunday hours will reopen with
regular hours on Monday, July 6.

The
Durham County General Services Department will close its four Solid Waste and
Recycling Convenience Centers to the public on Friday, July 3, 2009 and
Saturday, July 4, 2009 in recognition of the Independence Day.
