Durham, N.C. – Around noon today, the Durham County Department of Social Services (DSS) building located at 300 N. Duke Street lost power.  The power outage is expected to be temporary.  At this time, DSS employees are continuing take name of clients.  However, DSS is unable to provide full service to clients at this time.  The county will reassess the power outage at Duke Street at 1p.m. 

The County is working closely with Duke Energy to restore power to DSS’ building on Duke Street.
